Center for Citizen Initiatives
Gateway to Russian Publications

Here, you will need to make a choice according to which type of computer and fonts you are using.

If you don't yet have Cyrillic installed on your computer you can download a good set of fonts here. Select any of the ER fonts; Bukinist is a good serif font, Universal a good sans-serif font.

A SPECIAL NOTE: Netscape users, in addition to changing your fonts (under options...general preferences), you will need to change your "document encoding" (also under the options bar) to "Roman," "Latin2" or "MacRoman."

Another good site to find out how to empower your computer with Cyrillic is the SovInform Bureau.

These pages will be under permanent construction as we build an open library of useful Russian publications.
