CCI brings its bottom-up, grassroots approach which
has been so successful in PEP and other programs to
the fight against corruption. CCI's CBET program is capable
of stimulating laser-focused solutions for Russia's age-old
problem of official corruption, because of CCI's close relationship
with corruption's ultimate targets the Russian entrepreneurs.
CBET pronounced "Svet" in Russian, and
meaning "light" will utilize the 3,000-plus
Russian business leaders who have received intensive US-based
business management training through CCI's programs, principally
the Productivity Enhancement Program (PEP). PEP Fellows
trust CCI and are ready to participate in this new CCI initiative
by contributing time and sharing costs. Some of them have
already begun to form grassroots associations to create
a united front against bureaucratic impediments to business
